It is the art of creating powerful mental pictures, what is otherwise called as seeing with the mind's eye. It is simply the ability to see or sense images in your mind. Images of the things you desire, the life you want to lead, the relationships you want in your life.

Different people visualise in different ways. Some see mental images as if they are watching a movie; others sense images rather than see them. Some sense and see the images at the same time.
It really does not matter how you visualize as long as you are able to present images to your subconscious mind. Very rarely, a person may have difficulty in visualizing. If you fall into that category, try some visualization exercises or prepare a Vision Board.

Emile Coue, the French psychologist, once said: "If imagination and willpower are in conflict, then invariably it is the imagination that wins."
It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. The subconscious mind is more easily influenced by pictures than words. The pictures/scenes that we hold in our mind for an extended period of time tend to manifest themselves. Hence visualization is a faster way of realizing our dreams.
The whole process involves the "seeing" of your future as you want it to be. If you want a new car, close your eyes and "see" yourself driving the new car. Notice the make and model of the car, drive along familiar roads, "see" your friends congratulating you; in short "see" everything that will happen when you really purchase a new car.
When you do this regularly for a period of 3-4 months, your subconscious will be sufficiently impressed to set into motion a series of events that will end up in you getting your desired vehicle. It goes without saying that the process ia applicable for manifesting whatever you desire, a house, a new job, a new relationship, anything.
All of us visualize everyday by way of day dreaming. Unfortunately, most of us tend to visualize about what we are lacking in our life. As we do this continuously, day in and day out, for months – even years on end – the lack in our life gets more and more cemented.
Instead of this, if we purposely visualize prosperity in a similar way – continuously, day in and day out, for months or years – our life will become prosperous with whatever we desire.
Creative visualisation allows us to have anything we desire – love, joy, satisfying relations, job satisfaction, health, creativity, inner peace, happiness. You name it, you can attain it. It's a perfect illustration of mind over matter.
Some areas where creative visualization is used regularly are to manifest
- a new car
- a new house
- a new job
- a new business
- life partner/soul mate
- more money
- better health
One warning though. Creative visualisation cannot be used to control or harm others. It has been said that if this technique is used to harm others, then that harm will first befall you!
When creative visualization is used in combination with affirmations the results are faster.
